Carbon cleaners

What are the better products to use for cleaning carbon from the barrel throat? I just had a new 6.5/284 built (Kreiger barrel), and I read they are prone to carbon build up? I also have two 30 cals on based on the 300 Wby. and I think they have that problem. There are fewer than 600 rounds thru both Hart and Kreiger barrels. I clean them them both with Shooters Choice and Barnes CR 10, and every so often with JB Bore Cleaner.

I get a good deal on Subaru upper engine cleaner which seems to get the job done. I give my barrels a lick with JB Bore Bright ever couple of hundred rounds or when light copper shows up to round off things.

Otherwise, do a search for carbon & check out the range of opinions.

i have been using gm tec(top engine cleaner) in about a pint can. i bought some subaru tec, but have not used it yet.
