Canjar Trigger

It's most likely a small sear return spring. or just not recocking due to adjustment. Back off of the over travel and see if that helps. If that doesn't help, increase the sear ingagement.

Butch:
I started to suggest that, but I just assumed he had already tried that. Interested to see what model the trigger is. My old catalogs don't show one for the 52B. I heard they were available at one time, but that was way back. At any rate, Sear and over travel adjustments are critical. Fred J

I will try all suggestions, this 52B is Serial #56800, made 1947. The only # stamped on the trigger is 52-2

Thanks,

If you can't get it to work you might check with Neal Rice, he used to work for Canjar years ago. I think he live in Colo. and
dwells in the Schutzen rifles.

I took it apart found a broken sear spring, made a new one and cleaned all the parts.
Works fine, not much to it.

Thanks for all the replays,
Jim
