Sorta reminds me of one time maybe 20 years ago when I headed up to BC to visit my kids in Vancouver. The Trans-Canada was backed up nose to tail about 20 miles east of Vancouver so I took the back way. I was driving a little Mazda 4x4 pickup and had locked the hubs when I saw the snow at the border. At the top of a good sized ravine that the road went through I could see a black and white car trying to get up the other side so I shifted into 4WD, and carefully descended then motored on up the other side past the RCMP car that was slowly spinning its way up the hill. The female RCMP officer gave me a look that would kill at 50 paces as I drove by. Fortunately that truck had glare proof glass in it....
