Can Anyone Give Me Some Info on this Gunsmith/Action

I had the opportunity to snag this rifle at a decent price, and decided to go ahead and put it on lay-a-way.

I had originally thought this was a sleeved Remington 700 action, but a friend of mine said he thought it was a custom action from Kleiendorst. The barrel was rechambered to 6mm BR by Howard Dietz at some point.

I am very familiar with Howard Dietz's work, me being from San Antonio, but do not know very much about KW Kleinendorst. Any information you all could give would be greatly appreciated.

Also, this will be my first "serious" centerfire benchrest rifle, so does it seem like a good choice?

sure looks like a sleeved rem. to me...

I'm pretty sure ken kliendorst didn't make actions could be wrong though I would say sleeved rem....

Does anyone know some info. about Mr. Kleinendost and the quality of his work?

Ken, Was a very inventive guy and work was always top rate, he made all kind of tools and fixtures.
