can a rem 700 trigger be reworked ?

i have a spare trigger assy for my rifle, and was wondering, can they be made better ? who does them ? what can i expect.

The factory 700 trigger is still one of the best for a hunter/varminter if you don't want it much lighter than 2 pounds... some of them can be worked down to a crisp pound... some of them won't. It is a lot cheaper to have it reworked than it is to replace it with an aftermarket. Some of the aftermarket triggers aren't much better unless you rework them too...

You might try to clean it up and see what you think. After the first jewell I had trouble with the feal of factory trigger for hunting and such.
