Camp Sumter First Shoot!!

I just want to thank everyone that came to our first shoot today at Camp Sumter. It was a beautiful day in South Georgia for our first SOTY, even though the wind was treacherous with gust up to 25 miles per hour........it was tough on the shooters, but it sure kept the gnats away. We were hoping for some 250's to start the year off right, however there wasn't any to be found in these conditions! John Spafford and his wife came down from Obama Country to shoot with us on the way to the Crawfish and taught us some of the politicly correct terms from Illionois.....we found out how close we really are!!
Mike Cameron won the 3 gun and John Spafford won the unlimited. Here are the top three from each event.

Phil, I think we all thank you for starting up a very nice new range and running a good match. Looking at the facilities, it is obvious that you all put a lot of work into it. Those winds wore me out, especially in the UL. Found out when I got home that a forgot to put my noodle tuner on that I beat you guys with; like Mac Arthurand Arnold said: I'll be back. Great shoot. It was nice to see spectators show up.
