hi guys, anybody use those burris signature rings with the inserts. i'm looking at purchasing some and wondering if they're worth installing??

Got them on several rifles, and like them. I've got an old Savage 112V that's apparently got the screw holes for the bases out of line (about 36 MOA worth!), the Signature rings allow it to be lined up without using up all the windage in the scope. They don't mar scope tubes while holding them tight, and if a guy needs extra elevation for long range he can get the equivalent of a tapered base by using the offset inserts.

Signature Rings

I have several sets installed on rifles that weight is no issue.

They are heavy!

I have also used them to get more elevation.

Installation may take some extra thought.

Zee style are for Weaver bases.

I've got em on almost all of my Rifles and Pistols. Swear by em.

Signature rings

Been using them since they first came on the market: never buy any others now. No ring marks on scope tubes , ability to keep the windage & elevation adjustments centered, ( or very close) by sighting-in using the off-set inserts, ring screws need not be tightened down as tight ( and easily stripped), etc. Too many advantages to not use them. IMO.

i have a set on my 600yd rifle. easy to use and easy on the scope where weight is a non issue.
