I'm glad the new guys came down to visit. You guys need to come back when the REAL wind hits. Yesterday's wind was pretty much normal for this time of year. If you guys noticed the 300 yard range on the way in. For some reason the wind blows 180 degrees different than the prevailing winds you saw on the rim fire range.

We had one match last year when the wind was gusting to 40mph. (confirmed on several wind meters) It actually blew some of the wind flags over.

When the wind finally stops, you wish it was back. We had one match in the middle of the summer last year that was brutal. The temperature gages were reading 105 under the awning, and 119 on the "grass". (baked dirt from the heat & drought.

Never a dull moment at Bullseye.

On a serious note, a tornado hit dead center where we shoot back in 1989.
Larry lost his brand new gun shop to the twister, and pretty much took out everything 10 miles south of the range.

Please forgive us locals if we freak out if we hear thunder. The sight of the carnage will never leave my mind.

Thanks to all for a great match.

Congratulations Guys. I would like to have been with you.

We were wondering where Gordon and Mel would be shooting this weekend. I heard Gordon say "I'd rather shoot a Sporter than eat Ice Cream" at our match at Salem last weekend. I thought he was kidding!

Todd

Tood,
Those two can shoot and eat both!!!! They probably gained a few pounds while they were here.........

Gary

Tood,

while they were here.........

Gary

Gary, "while they were here", you mean you didn't keep them? I was hoping you would have them stay around for the next six months or so.:D I saw in another thread where you finished D.A.L. Last time I shot with the Eck boys, I also finished D.A.L.

Thanks Gary and the Bullseye Crew For a fun time. It was nice to get to meet youall. That quarter thing is something else.
Gary we got to go to Jesses shop. Man he has some quarter display.

Thanks Gary for A great time . Pippen save your quarters We will be back .Jeff if you need help making money call me.

Gordon and Mel.....l enjoyed having you here and getting to know you better. Sounds like you enjoyed your time here and you are welcome back anytime.

Tango Two: Mel is an easy touch for a quarter but be sure to have him autograph it with a Magic Marker. I know he has an extra one because he has two of mine. They are fun people to shoot with.

Mel/Gordon...

we had a good time at Bullseye, but next time save enough time for the Piedmont shoot. The wind never blows at Piedmont, so you don't have to work so hard at all for a nice target.
