You did not give enough info for anyone to make a good reply, but I will try.

105 in 6mm would be best with a 8 twist with velocities from 2900-3200 fps so that would equality to 261000 rpm to 288000 rpm. You want the bullet to still be a few 100 fps above sonic as she passes the 1000 so the slowest you could go would be around 2500 or 2600 fps to still do this according the BC pgms and that is only 234000 rpm.

These are the approx rpm for a 1-8 twist based on velocity
2900 261000
2950 265500
3000 270000
3050 274500
3100 279000
3150 283500
3200 288000
3250 292500
3300 297000

Wherever she groups best is the best at 1000 yds for that particular barrel and that bullet at whatever velocity what happens to be that is would be your answer. The next barrel as all barrels will be a different answer. Accuracy trumps velocity.

sorry i should have been more clear i shoot 6/47 lapua i can get the upper velocitys but for some reason at 3050 fps it shoots lights out the thick jacket bullets i thought would give me more as far as velocity and a window they would shoot as well as the ones at 3050 fps .

Stan, 3050 is just fine, that is were I shoot mine too. The extra 100-150 fps you may get out of it will only buy you, what, maybe an 1" less wind drift at 1000 over the slower round, but it will also cost you more in case, barrel life and powder. If she likes it at 3050, shoot her there, just watch the winds flags a little closer.
