if you shoot competion what do you use as fare as weight class guns..do you still shoot the 10.5 lb class in all 3 classes or do you still have a rifle for 13.5 lb class.
what are your thoughts on this.also i see the stolls and a shilen in some builds.what do you think is the go to action now.

I think most people shooting a 6ppc use their LV gun all the way. I had a HV gun in 6PPC but turned it into a 30BR for VFS. I have no educated opinion on actions although I have two Bat and two Kelbly.

Although still a newbie to short range benchrest, my 6PPC with one scope on it and a removable weight I have in the butts stock, can shoot in HV and with the weight out and the scope switched to a lighter one, it can make LV. Probably a bad compromise of each.

Yes, you are doing way too much

screwing around. Use the lighter scope, get rid of the weights and shoot a LV all the way thru. Or else get another action, stock, etc., and build a dedicated HV and have a HV and a LV that you do not have to make changes in.

thank you for your imput.i think i will go with a light varmit set up.no weight system.am going to get a used rifle in summer when more funs become avalible.
