V virg New member Dec 16, 2009 #2 Might try... A local gun show and take a look at beat up Remingtons for a reasonable price. Or...buy a Savage short action (comes with a pretty good trigger too) and you could have a great switch barrel in 243, 308, 260, 7-08, etc. Virg
