It's time for a new thread.

Who's going to the Bud Pryor this year? This will be the first time I've attended the match. Julia and Lucy will be there!

I WAS planning to go, but due to the last day of the NRA bolt action barreling course at Montgomery Community College being the Friday that the Bud starts, I won't be able to make it :(.

Have fun folks, and shoot an X for me :).

I'll be there

The most exciting part will be to see who wins the Two Gun championship. I think Dick said there were going to be a half dozen entries this year. I think I know who five of them are.

I think I liked it better when it was "only one gun". That way, one had to produce. With the Two gun the same is sort of true. You got to produce with two instead.

Creek Rising

The way things have been going here the creek may rise. We had our second rain in the last month with over 5". I tried to sell some of it to my brother in Las Vegas but with the high cost of diesel I told him we don't deliver. Curt

I am happy to say I just returned from the range and although it was apparently flooded earlier this week it is merely muddy at this point and should be well dried out in a few days. Although we have never had to cancel a major event so far, the attached photo will show what Curtis was referring to when he said the "creek may rise".

Adrian - Kevin is a certified Scuba instructor...maybe he could set them for ya! :D

A golf course here looked about like that on Monday / Tuesday...good news is that most of the baseball fields were able to open by Tuesday evening...bad news is we got more on the way late tonight though it isn't supposed to be nearly as much...

I remember going to Thurmont one evening after work ('96, I think) to push some gravel around in the loading shed. Instead I found a bunch of people thrashing to move campers off of the lower and middle camp lines. At least one camper went down the river that time. I remember there was one that couldn't be moved that was tied off to something and was bobbing around like a cork......I don't remember if that was the one that floated away or if it was a different one. The water was even with the bench tops.

Hey Randy,

That's great to hear. Be sure to hunt me down. We are bringing our camper and will be staying right there at the range. Bring an extra chair and come socialize with us.
