BT bullet punch

I'm needing a new core seating punch for my 6mm BT bullet dies. Anyone know where I can have one made without going to Nemi and waiting 1/2 a lifetime?

Dave, have you tried ordering punches from Niemi? Delivery time on the ones that I've ordered from them have been in a couple of weeks and well within reasonable delivery. The dies I ordered from him a couple of years ago were even fairly short delivery time ( less than 6 months) especially compared to the three years it took for a set of Rorschach dies back in the 80's.

And

I have to wonder if you mean a new boattail punch for your point up die..

The few bt coreseaters I've seen had the bt in the coreseat die and used regular fb coreseating punches..

Same here. The core seat punches are the same as for a flat base bullet. I haven't sent any boat tail point up punches back to Niemi to have resharpened yet, so don't know how long it takes to get them back. He sent two with the dies, so that when one was damaged, you could send it back and keep on making bullets.

Dave,
are you going to make bullets in your spare time? i do hear that 2 to 3am in the morning is the perfect "quiet time" for making bullets without interruption. I have been building a new evil Black rifle for plinking around when I have the time-(I'm dreaming now) after I saw yours a couple of months ago. Around 3am, you can hear the ring very clearly while finding the sweet spots on your barrel. I use a zylaphone drumstick and think I'm on to something.....

I got the Young Rail ready to go, and I'm working on the Bat to find a decent barrel to use at springville to get ready for the Nationals. You coming up to Springville in August?

August match

Yes, Sue and I will come up. Were probably going to be the sacrificed to your new rail.
