Xbr ?
I know everyone is probably tired of talking about this stuff but i just started playing with it last weekend, and then again today. I am getting great groups with this stuff and i plan on continuing the adventure. anyway today at the range while cleaning, we noticed that there were strips of what looked like plastic coming out of the barrel. I have never seen anything like this before. One quick sweep with the bronze brush after 2 or 3 patches of Butches and it was all gone, but it was still pretty weird. Is this pretty common? I was shooting George Ulrich 66gr little uglies and they were awesome with 29.7gr of lot 4736 8208. It also wanted to shoot at around 30.6gr but i felt like it needed just a touch more powder to fine tune the tune. 29.7 delivered some of my smallest ever 5 shot groups though.
Also while i have you all here, How do the lot numbers run from an 8lb jug as opposed to a 1lb jug? The reason i ask is that my powder is all in the 1lb canisters with the lot # 4736. the way i understand this is that this is the first lot of this stuff. Will the numbers on the 8lb jug be the same for the first lot or will they be labeled differently, and if so what number do i need to look for in the 8 pounds to match my current 1 pounders?
