I am considering ordering a Brux barrel for a .308. Anyone who has a Burx Barrel, please let me know what you think of the product.

Brux Barrels

I have three Brux barrels, but only two have been chambered. I bought the second and third after I saw how great the first one shot. I have one chambered in 22/6mm Remington, and it has shot some amazing 300 yard groups. The other barrel is a 6PPC and isn't one of the most accurate barrels I have had, but it shot well enough. The guys at Brux have been extremely good to deal with. I hope this alleviates any apprehension you have

Brux barrels are made by two gentlemen in Lodi, WI that pay close attention to detail and are damnded good at what they do. Every Brux barrel I've chambered has had a very straight bore, and accuracy is always more than acceptable. They are not as well known as Krieger, Obermeyer, bartlien etc... but that's a good thing, as their lead times are not as great, but the product is....

I have one on a 6ppc in 13.5 twist. Only 150 rounds down it so far but it is looking very good. One of the straightest bores I have seen in a while. And two great gentlemen to deal with.

My Brux .308 arrived last week. Lets hope it shoots as well as the 6mm and 7mms that I already have from them (which is fantastic).
