Talk About Tough Conditions....
Didn't mean to ignore you, Lynn-
For the long version, I posted a response in a thread started by Leroy in the Competition section of the 6BR forum.
I had a great time.
And, as it turns out, I did okay.
No one called my name during the awards ceremony afterwards, but I just got the full results. For Two Gun Group, I came in fifth, and Two Gun Score, I came in third, behind Don and Brenda.
Don Neilson was shooting on a different planet from the rest of us.
Ya think there's a reason he wears that blue Hall of Fame jacket?
Not to mention he's a blast to pull targets with.
The upshot is, I got it bad.
Even before I read the results I was ready to starting sizing and loading.
I just love shooting matches.
And hope to see more like this at Ojai in the future.

We let Don win from time to time so he could get that jacket but did you say he was a blast to pull targets with????? Didn't realise there was two Don's out there.All kidding aside he must have put a fresh barrel on his gun after the nationals and it sounds like it is shooting very well.I am glad to hear you finished 3rd in two gun score.It isn't easy finishing top 5 with these guys.
