Brownells

Going to a couple of the NRA gunsmithing classes at Trinidad in July so I put in an order for over twenty items to Brownell's for some stuff for the classes. Received a shipping notice with a UPS tracking number 2 hours and fifteen minutes after submitting the order over the internet. Hope they keep this up and show Sinclair how to do it that fast. :D

Mr. Adams that's pretty good but if you would allow me to brag on a Benchrest Central sponsor, Killough Shooting Sports -Mr. Dan Killough . I ordered some ammo Monday,
-- got my UPS tracking number in 42 min 27 sec! joe :)

I've never had a problem with Sinclair. They are prompt and competent.

I agree. I've bought a lot from Sinclair and never had a problem. They've just never responded quite that fast and I thought that now that Sinclair is owned by Brownell's they might transfer that technology to them.

Also, just ordered some tools from Traver's Tools and got same day shipping from them as well. Now to see how much UPS drags their feet on transporting the goods. Whenever I order stuff from the Northeast after midweek it seems to spend the weekend at a terminal in Ohio. :(

UPS does not have the speediest service and their minimum charges are over the top but they are still better than the alternatives, IMHO.

I collect cartridges and UPS is the only way I will ship live ammunition. What I have come to find out is that, when a package is accepted by them for shipping, they have a pre-determined route and schedule built into their system. Even if the package arrives a day or two early they will hold it until the programmed delivery date so as not to blow the computers mind.

Of course, brand X (FedEx) does the same thing and even worse.
