I`ve an Anschutz mod 54 and unfortunately it seems like something has happend to the trigger.
It`s not possible to adjust the trigger with the screws, nothing happens. It`s very light and has "no feel to it". The springs looks alright.
I`ve talked to the Annie dealer here in Sweden and he just said: The trigger is broken and you need to buy a new one. Price? Over 400$!!
No way! there has to be something I can do. Do you know if someone else makes a trigger for this model? Is it possible to find spareparts for it?

Rolf,
Does the trigger work? If it works then it is probably not broke - just needs a tune up.
Did you try giving it a good cleaning?
When you say the springs 'look' alright did you see if they were doing anything?
Someplace on line there is a breakdown of the anschutz trigger and the proper way to adjust them. Did you do any research or just start turning adjusting screws?

No I had a friend help me out with the settings. He`s a Annie shooter sinze the mid seventies and I trust him. But he didn`t want to continue with it because he couldn`t figure out what was wrong with.

Yes the trigger works and it`s reliable, doesn`t "let of" when you close the bolt hard. But very very light and completely without any feel to it.

No I haven`t cleaned it but the dealer who sold it to me said he did, just before delivery.

I recieved an e-mail from a friend in the States and he tipped me about a dealer who has new triggers for about 150$ so if I can`t solve this I`ll talk to them.

Rolf,
Go to a the Anschutz websight at http://jga.anschuetz-sport.com
Go to the right side of the home page and click on english and then search.
Type in trigger and you might come up with the instructions you need to adjust the trigger.

Thanks Chuck.

Can someone tell me which of the model(s) that has the 54 action?
Can`t find any model with the "name" 54. They call them 14xx, 17xx, 19xx and so on.

Could not leave good enough alone

I read the post on the Annie trigger today and decided to adjust mine which was just fine. I turned the screw which is supposed to lessen the pull and now I have to push the trigger forward for the gun to cock. Tried to put the screw back in original position but this didn't help. Any suggestions.
Thanks
