hi jubba i will be their with my supply of jlk bullets and a can of kick butt which i plan on openin on bf and any other takers . i just hope i dont have to eat from someone esles's can . TR

Make sure you all have your pink slips for those guns, the wife is going to need some new tomatoe stakes this summer. Oh ya, don't eat anything before you come. There will be plenty of crow for ya.

I will try to bring a van load of the 'Northern Neck' contingent Sunday for the shoot. I hope the Bridgeville breeze doesn't toss my little 6mm bullets around too much.

Bobby,

Maybe it is time to think about moving on up to 7mm or .30 cal bullets, so you don't worry about that as much. Just a thought.

Whop Butt

Next time you guys bring a can of whop butt...........check the date on it! They go bad. One bullet saved you two from a major crow eatin session!

cant wait till March.

OH ya GO team BURNS Mike thanks for the great work, I have the team captain looking over his shoulder now..

Did the dates for the next match move one week later?

I would like to come but have never been to any IBS matches. I have been shooting ghog matches but would like to try this out and shoot the winter league next year. Do I need to join the IBS before the match. I have no problem joing just asking. Also any info or place to see format for shoot would be helpful.

Thanks.

The 2 day match is March 21st and 22nd. You can join the IBS at the match or right now. IBS membership is not required for club awards in the match. If you are chasing SOY points or are planning to set a new record, than yes you would have to be an IBS member. The match is run at a nice pace so everyone shoots and still has alot of time to BS. The format is, 6 min unlimited sighting period followed by 5 rounds in 10 min for score #1 tgt. You will be given a 2min unlimited sighter period, followed by 5 rounds in 10 min for score #2 tgt. You will clear the line of all equipment and the next relay will shoot. After all relays have fired, you will go backup and repeat what you shot earlier with the exception of the 6 min sighter period. It now becomes 2min sighter instead of 6 min. 4 targets, 20 rounds for score plus sighter rounds. We will go over this at the safety meeting. Registration fees cover your entry, pullers if we have enough and your meal. Like i said, it's a nice easy, friendly run match. I suggest you review the rules on the IBS web so that way it isn't overwhelming for you. If you need anything let us know. If you want to see some real good groups in some real windy conditions, you will. the majority won't be from a 30cal eithier. We have alot of real good shooters over there and a wonderful fellowship together.

Thanks for the info. I should be able to make it. One last question, are the 2 days seperate matches? I apologize if this is a stupid question but I looked at the IBS site and couldn't find an answer. Thanks.

I just thought that I should warn all of you; Marion is planning to be there with his new 6.5x47 one hole group rifles. So you better watch out and God help us all!

Yes

I for one will be humbled to be in the company of the southern gentleman Mr Marion. With his new shootin iron he will put on a clinic. Beware all!
