BR Rookie Question

It seems like the USBR target and rimfire rules format are not very popular. Why is that? This is the only BR type of target that I have used (started shooting it on RFC online matches a few years ago). But, it seems like it is a bit more challenging than some of the others (their ten rings appear more generous). A scan of some of the different organizations' rules indicate differences there as well. Has anybody written a book comparing these different rimfire benchrest games?

Only Challenge

Danny:
The challenge comes, when there are two or more on the line in shoulder to shoulder matches, and every target counts. The size of the target doesn't matter.

Danny,
I'm not sure why USBR isn't as popular as the other organizations, but there are alot of RFC E-mail match "graduates" shooting IR50/50, RBA and ARA, including me. Part of the problem is that the other three orgs are much more active, with a better chance that you can find one of their matches within driving distance. Like Fred said, once you get there, the targets are all the same.
