Bought moly bullets by mistake

I have a Weatherby Vanguard in 06 that is a very good shooter. As in. a 5 shot group of .31, and best 3 of .1. shot with 150gr. SMK. I bought some 168 gr. Horn. match bthp to see how these heavier bullets would shoot. When I got home and opened the box, I saw all these gray bullets. Oh well, might as well load them up and see what happens. Used 47 gr. Varget since this is the load that Hornady uses for their 168 AMAX ammo. First 3 shot group was about 2", and so was second. However, the 3rd group came in at <.5". That was all I had with me, but I called Hornady, and they said that the first 2 groups must have coated the bore with the moly. Made sense so I loaded up some more of the same and went back to the range next day, and after the first fouling shot from a cold barrel, the <.5 groups followed. I've since read here that there's a lot of pro's and con's re moly bullets. I'll probably shoot up the rest and go back to the SMKs, but it sure is interesting. If I ever get the chance to shoot at really long ranges, I may want to use these molys.
