BoreTech Eliminator…Is it Safe to Leave it in the Bore Overnight?

I don’t own a borescope but sure wish I did. You guys with borescopes, please tell me what you see. I am now using BoreTech Eliminator exclusively to clean my barrels. I will often leave it in the bore overnight. So far I have only done this with custom lapped stainless steel barrels. There have been no corrosion or any other problems that I have noticed. But if any of you guys out there with borescopes know better from personal observations, please let me know.

Thanks,

“'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

I've left it in the bore overnight with both SS and CrMo barrels. I have ready access to a borescope and haven't seen any ill effects from it. When I'm done cleaning for the last time before the varmint rifles go in the safe for the winter, I use a patch with brake cleaner on it, then dry patch the bore, then put a patch with Barricade on it through the bore. In the spring I use a brake cleaner soaked patch followed by dry patches before leaving for the range to check zeros.

FWIW: I've also left SLIP2000, WipeOut, PatchOut, M-PRO 7, and GM-TEC in the bore over night with no ill effects, or at least none I can see in the borescope.
