bore diameter air rifle VS centerfire

I have a brand new Lilja barrel from an XP100 project with a 17-222 chamber in it. I have no interest in 17 centerfire.

I also have some air rifles.

When you'se guys buy high-end barrels do you buy something airgun-specific?

Or can one use a cf barrel?

most likely your .17 caliber has a Twist of 10" & Bore diameter of .168" plus a Groove diameter of .172"
.177 air rifle dimensions are Twist: 17.7" & Bore diameter: .176" & Groove diameter: .182,
as you can see they are different
