boosting scope power

i have heard that here is a way to boost the power of a scope. if this is true will your moa adjustments be effected. would you loose moa adjustment from the scope. this might be a dumb question sorry, but thanks for the help.

There are different ways to boost a scope.
1. lens boost in the eye piece. Cross hairs will increase in size. Adjustments not effected.

2. Gene Davis's Optical Booster. Screw in eye piece on slides on. Made for several scopes. Cross hairs bigger, Adjustments not effected.

3. Boost either way with cross hairs replaced with finer ones. Adjustments not effected.

Bill Ackerman and Wally Siebert do boosts and crosshair replacements but not boosts on variables.
