Yeah thought of that to the reply from Flash was $500.00 son you can have one of my bolts
So lets ask the question again it wasnt what would be the best bolt to buy
The question was what would be the easiest bolt to build
Thought this was a gunsmith site
Havent any of you super duper machinest gunsmiths ever built anything like this before
Thanks for any info you may have

Since it's going in a Turbo action, I'd copy the Turbo bolt. But, I'd bet by the time you buy whatever tooling you have to get to make the bolt and material to make the bolt, plus whatever heat treating you use, you'd be money ahead getting the bolt from Flash. It's just like Butch's Aussie wind flags, by the time you figure up all the bearings, delrin, reamers, etc and any kind of allowance for your time, you're better off buying the flags from Butch. By the way, Butch, I need two more wind flags. Send me an invoice and I'll get you a check.

From what I have seen over the years, if you can buy the bolt ready to go for $500, you can probably make your own for $700 and it will take twice as long, work only as good.

Just my $87.50 worth.
