Hello All, I trued up a REM 700 action opened up the bolt face for a 7mm WSM however I went back to a 7mm REM MAG cartridge, question is should I close the bolt face back to original dimensions. From original .473" to .535" anyone with experience; asking because I don't. I also converted to sako extractor.

You have your head dimensions confused-
The 7RM & WSM are of .532" face diameter.
The 7Express(slow twist) &/or 280 Rem(fast twist) will be of .473" face diameter.

You've sacrificed the 3 rings of steel by installing a SAKO extractor in your Rem bolt face.
Don't blank/pierce a primer w/ your installed SAKO extractor.

Hi DANS40x yes there was confusion I enlarged from .532" 7mm Rem Mag to 7mm WSM .535" not much of a difference however I placed an SAKO extracter in the bolt.
