Thanks to all who came to shoot today. I appreciate all you guys showing up. I hope everyone had a good time. Thanks to Wilbur for the help scoring targets. Congrats to all the winners and to Jim Pepper and Ernie Jenderko for their winning the 3-gun agg , Jim in match 1 and Ernie in match 2.
Special congrats to my 12 year old grandson Devin on his first match, and his 250-15X win in 10.5 class. I gotta say I really enjoyed seeing him shoot that 250 his first match. He really had a good day and enjoyed meeting all of you guys. He's going to get better fast, I'm pretty sure of that:)
Ernie Jenderko shot his first 250 with a sporter! Congratulations Ernie and also for your very strong 748 agg in match 2. Excellent shooting!
Ernie ran the table on us in match 2--great shooting Ernie!

Good shoot, Kent. Sorry I had to bail out on the second match.
Earnie, You did great aon that second match. Congratulations on the sporter 250 as well as the 249's. Awfle close to the 750.
Congratulations Devin. That was some great shooting in your first match. I'm don't think that will be the last.
Good shooting, Jim

Devin Roberts

Despite his relation to Kent, Devin is an all right guy. His enthusiasm and good grace helped me get through the day. Enjoyed every minute!

Sadly, it would seem that nothing can help my scores nor my attentiveness to the drive home. Made it almost to Boone (luckily) and slept three hours in a supermarket parking before I could continue. Those darn seat belt thingys can leave a mark.

Guys,
Devin read your posts and was very appreciative of the kind words, and also the the kindness and acceptance that everyone showed him yesterday. He said that he enjoyed the shoot, and the people he got to meet.

As anyone would be their first match, I think he was a bit nervous. But, the kindness shown by you guys helped out a lot and made that go away quickly.
I am really proud of that young man. His parents have brought him up very well. I've shot a few 250's, but the one he shot on Saturday made me feel the best of any of them yet! I hope to see him shoot a few more of 'em in the future.
