I'd like to thank everyone who came to shoot today, and thanks to all who helped with the match. I thought we had a great first match of the season, even though we had some wind, rain, sorta dead calm:confused:, it was a good day to shoot after it warmed up a bit. DJ and Danny, thanks for doing the scoring, you both did a great job. I appreciate it a lot, and thanks to the refs as well. I enjoyed the shoot, and hope everyone else did as well. We had a couple of first timers, Ernie Jenderko and Robert Stuart and they did well for their first match. I hope they will return next month. We shot 2-3 IR5050 gun matches. Results as follows, congrats to all the winners, some fine scores were shot considering the weather.

Kent, even though the weather wasn't great there were some great scores shot by everyone. Nice way to start the season for the first match.

Take Care,
Joe

Good match as always, Kent. DJ and Danny: ya'll are just plain tough. Hope the new shooters will be back.
Ernie, I hope your operation goes well.
Jim

Jim,
Thanks for you and Truman coming, and helping to make the match a succesful one. I hope I didn't rag Truman too much, I like joking with him.
That's a great group of folks to spend the day with, and without the help of all of them I couldn't put on the match. I kinked my back early in the week working on the target frames, and I moved slowly all day.
Jim, you're shootin g very well and I can see I'm going to have to step it up a couple of notches just to hang close to you guys. That's what makes it sporting though, and makes it fun. I have to find some more good sporter ammo, I can see that already. You guys shot great! See you at Kettlefoot next weekend!
