Blue Ridge IR50/50 results from 6/28/08

We shot a 3 gun match for list points following the NC State Meters match this past Saturday. I neglected to post results and some folks have asked how it turned out. We had one gentleman( Mr. Pete Pardue) who got deathly sick and had to leave after the 1st target. I was very worried about him because he had a heart attack back in the Spring. I think he just got too darned hot. I checked up on him on Sunday and he seems to be doing ok now. Pete's been shooting local matches since they began having them back in the 90's.
Now for the match! Greg Davis shot his first 250 with a sporter! Great shooting Greg! DJ was shooting a new Calfee rifle that seemed to shoot very well and I think he was happy with it. We had a big thunderstorm with 20 mph winds right after the last target and DJ and I both got almost drowned in the scoring shed with rain blowing all the way thru!
Thanks to all who stayed and shot the match. Congrats to all the winners.
Maybe we'll do it again some day.
