Blc 1

I have a jug of blc1. Will it work in a 6PPC? What would be a good starting load. It is an old powder and probably not as strong as it once was. It smells fine. NOt acrid. Any suggestions please? Thanks Michael

As I recall, BLC-1 is the surplus version. They packaged it commercially from military contract leftovers. Once that ran out, they renamed it BLC-2. Hopefully someone can confirm that. If true, it'll be a tad slow for the PPC (though it has been tried).

Works great in the .222 however. Used to shoot it a lot in my .222 LV.
