Blackcreek match

The 100 meters match at Blackcreek is history, the conditions were fairly light but pretty tricky with a lot of switches and you had to be on your toes or get caught. The records survived but they were both tied, Henry Varanian won w 250-23x, Hal Drake was 2nd w 250-22x and Adrian Vangorder was 3rd w 250-21x. In LV Adrian was 1st w250-19x, Herbie Llewellen was 2nd w 250-19x and Dean Breeden was 3rd w 250-18x. It was a cold day started out in the 20's and I don't think it ever got out of the 30's, we had a good turnout with 28 guns. I ran through snow for the last 60 or 70 miles going home and as always a few folks managed to wreck in it but I had no problem making it home. This wraps up the year at KC's place and it was a good year, Thanks to KC and his help for the well run matches. See everyone at Fairfax next Sun for the 2nd match of the winter league. Good shooting Guys, Steve
