Different strokes for different folks. You could look at it as the forerunner of the McMillan A5, specifically the vertical grip. I think it is the MPI version of the A-Square stock: http://www.mpistocks.com/asquare.htm

.500 jeffery's would be biggest i would go for , any thing with lager diameter case and you have truble with feeding and would have to have full custom bottem metal made,

458lott work really good on them
