Best For You BR Range

I would say that my best average is Black Creek, in Richmond, Virginia. That range seems to treat me well.

Hi Stephen.
Yes. There is snow. We have a dusting. About 1" in the Great White North.
And I have to work till XMAS eve. :)

# 1 Harrison Sportsman's Club. Harrison, MI. First time there. Very nice club.
100y. group. 5 targets. .2996 Agg. 2nd place. :)

#2 WWCCA. Plymouth, MI. Home range. 2 gun avg. Agg. around .3066.

Score would be WWCCA. First time there had 250-5X. 3rd place.

And I shoot Holton Gun and Bow Club. 2 gun avg. Agg. around .3200 Agg.
The only club I know that is a campground and has a Firearms range. Nice.
Got my first trophy ever. The Budweiser Trophy. :D

My first year for registered matches.
6 group Tournaments. And 1 Super Shoot. A bunch of local score matches at Monroe RPC.
This has been a good year. :D

Visalia Range

Out California way Visalia Range has been our homestake since 1979. BR is really spread out in the SW Region. Now 3 active Ranges Registered NBRSA in California- Visalia, Sacramento, and Ojai. Hopefully Angeles Range will come on line in 2010. Lots of driving time but as Jackie says you ain't seen driving till you shoot the Texas circut. Makes me wonder since we have several Alaska Posters if they shoot Registerd up there and how many Ranges. Once in awhile at San Gabriel Range we got a couple of Alaskans shoot Registered with us said they were making the big swing, actually San Gabriel was their home range before they moved to Alaska one was a commercial fisherman in season.

Visalia was my second intro to BR shooting. I called Dennis Thornberry and he said take J 39 till you see the landfill turn left past the cornfield and dairy and listen for the shooting. Back in 1993 Visalia looked like a sap sucker convention with a bunch of yuppies from all parts of California and Arizona with their latest greatest BR guns and 2 to sell. I knew this Lee Six / McMillan bunch from San Gabriel Range so I was at home. Been there every year since shoot the whole Program. Visalia is different you get on the wagon you shoot near record aggs. You bring the wrong flags you suck all weekend and everybody lets you know about it been there done that. But Dennis never laughs at Shooters he just 'says see ya next time'. Great Range Great shooters.

I would say that I have consistently shot my best aggs at Raton.

The hardest range I have ever shot at is my home range New Braunfels.
