Bergara Barrels

Bergara Barrels. They are made in Spain. I cant seem to access their website. There is very little info on them that I can find. Thats why I'm asking here. Drop in replacements for Rem 700's on the barrel nut design and blanks also.

cant speak for a bergara, but pac-nor will do up a barrel for you with a barrel nut, and pac-nors are a pretty good barrel.

I saw a info video on one of the outdoor channels about Begara barrels...the story is that they went to Shilen and learned the button rifle process from Shilen then went home and purchased all new CNC type equipment and refined the Shilen process...

I have stopped by and talked to them at the last couple of SHOT shows. They are really an OEM barrel maker and like to think that they will become a gunsmith supplier. They have extremely limited offerings with respect to contours and especially twist rates. Generally, they have one twist rate per caliber, like 1-10 for 30 cal. They are, obviously, button rifled barrels as they were set up and tried to replicate a lot of Shilen processes.

I went back on the last day of SHOT this year to try and discuss some things with them and possibly order a couple of barrels to try and they had abandoned their booth! All their barrels and displays were still up but I guess the exhibitors were out checking out other stuff!
