Benchrest Book Recommendations

What are some of the books on benchrest (I'm starting to shoot long range matches) that you think would be most helpful? I already have Tony Boyer's new book on order, but that is the only one right now.

If you're a 100, 200, 300 yards benchrest shooter the two books already mentioned will serve you very well. If you're shooting, as you stated [long range] you might want to place your question on the 600 - 1000 yards forum for their recommendations. :)
 
Thanks Art...I'll do that. I know a lot of the setup and stuff is similar for any benchrest disciplines, but I will post this in the other forum also.

2.Extreme Rifle Accuracy by Mike Ratigan
3.The Benchrest Shooting Primer---A collection of articles from Precision Shooting magazine provided by A LOT of the VERY BEST shooters,Hall of Famers,machinists,rifle builders,and in general,people associated with the entire realm of Benchrest shooting giving valuable input on a wide variety of subjects from equipment,load development,wind shooting,match strategies and a whole lot more.
Mike Ratigan's book is also very informative,but I like the varied input of The Benchrest Shooting Primer.
I am really looking forward to getting/reading Tony Boyer's new book.
 
Glenn's book is nowhere near Ratigan's book. Glenn's was very good at the time, but Mike's goes in depth in every phase and not just a highlight of them.

I have both, Glen's and Mike's. I agree with Butch, Mike's book is way more informative then Glen's.

The only book mentioned so far that I don't have is Mr. Boyer's book. Each one has its own strengths. I personally like the Benchrest Shooting Primer because it goes indepth on the technical side, and when you have grown weary of tinkering , has a ton of articles on shooting in the wind and mirage.

I tinkered like crazy with loads and scopes and such, but when I finally got my hands on a good rifle the only thing holding me back was not knowing how to read the wind and mirage. That is when the real fun starts, putting all the bullets in a group during a reversal of conditions is what its all about.
