Benchmark 4 Groove,Cut Rifled Barrel

Ron from Benchmark sent me one of the first 4 groove,canted & cut Rifled barrels to test.I am not a big fan of cut barrels in rimfire,but told Ron that i would help him get them started,The barrel is very straight,Has 0005 taper.The bore is 215.3 to 215.8.Kiff made me a new reamer to use on this barrel.I put the barrel on yesterday & shot it yesyerday afternoon in some stiff wind,I really did not want to shoot it in all the wind,but it never stopped,so i shot it.The bullet holes that are in the target ,look like wad cutters from a 38,perfectly round & almost to full sizeIt shoots very good in the wind,I finally shot a complete target after giving up on setting the tuner, Shot a 250 15 x with Eley 5239 at 1054.I am going to shoot it tonight in the indoor range with more Eley & the New Lapua. BILL

What happen on indoor range ?
