Bedding/Epoxying Rings

Does anyone bother to "glue" their rings to the scope, just to make sure things don't move. Was thinking something like MarineTex. Thoughts comments? Thanks.

P.S. not the scope base to the receiver, but the actual rings to the scope.
 
What would you accomplish? I have not noticed a problem with scopes moving in properly lapped and/or bedded rings. If it ain't broke....

This is new to me. I just heard of it and was asking around. I would imagine that the idea is to fill in any minuscule surface texture or imperfections to increase actual contact area?

I've epoxy-bedded a ton of them...... but not glued them in.

I good weather, I wax the scope, polish the wax, bed them level
and they are glued till I take them off. Clean-up is at the bench
