People who start threads that draw over 70,000 (SEVENTY THOUSAND!) views in a short period of time attract the advertisers that send the gold. Or don't.

alot of guys lost respect for wally over allowing marty to keep suckering him in deeper and deeper. wally proved his rifle was indeed tuned and that bill had done it. marty wouldn't le it go that he was wrong(after all he is the tuner god who just followed calfee's methods).

give him sometime to regroup. wally is a great fellow and will be back. maybe marty will leave him alone this time since his rifle is tuned.
 
we'll say niether one of them would allow it to die. it should have died the death of a earth worm on a hot tin roof long before it did anyway.
 
I thought it was too. I don't think he was suckered any deeper than he chose to go. I think he spotted Marty as a wannabe from the word go and proved him wrong and proved his rifle is tuned. If it's not tuned, I don't want to shoot against him when he gets it tuned. Best I remember he seemed to think Marty is a "kook."

I doubt that he needs time to regroup. In a war of words, I would put money on Beau every time. But I do wonder why there are no posts from either him or Bill. I wonder if they're even allowed to post.

hope you get your rifle finished before all these excise taxes
kick in and make them unaffordable. eley match will be about
15 a box, and xact will be about 35. i wonder if it gets to be
a dollar a round if people will still buy them. probably, i'm still
smokin' and i always said i'd quit when they went to 50 cents
a pack.

else (mr. d nobody) maybe, and he can actually put the post
in play.

i hope it is done next week. if not i'll wait till jackie calls me and say it is ready to come home. the guy who is ganna finish my stock came by tonight and sit for a few hours while i nipped on whiskey.

i took him into the gun room and gave him his first chance to use night vission goggles!!!! boy was he amazed!!!!
 
I'm a big boy Melvin. I can take care of myself. You obviously never read very many posts I made for Calfee. Most were cut and paste. Most people realized that and there comments were directed to Calfee. Calfee is a big boy too, he can explain himself.
 
Well, Melvin, he does. Those are his words. It makes no difference what's at the top. How do we know you are who you say. As long as it's his words, he's explaining himself. Understand? Now, this is my last post to this (your) nonsense.
 
Beau just has a way with people doesn't he? I believe on one of his posts he did say that "Beau" was short for a middle name, so that would make it real if it's true. I don't guess he's any different than the rest of us and tied solidly to the truth on here. I tried to find it, but seems to be deleted now.

You know he does have a point though. I'm sure Beau knows computers enough to make a screen name BC, Calfee, Kathy, Bill, PN, whatever. Then he could just post Calfee's stuff under that and nobody would know the difference. To his credit, he's never tried to hide the fact that he's posting for Calfee and I think most of the posts are titled "from Calfee" or some such thing.

Just curious Melvin but why would you expect to see the name Bill Calfee on Beau's profile? I'm not instigating now, you don't have to answer if you don't want to. I guess what I'm asking is you don't think Beau is Calfee do you?

Everyone on BRC knows who Beau is . His name is Wallace Smallwood and he is posting for a friend , Bill Calfee. What difference does it make to you or anyone else if he post for a friend? It doesn't seem to bother anyone else and it is not hurting anything.
 
if you get the a.r.a. news letter there is a picture of everybody who shot in the nationals this year in there. buea is pictured in there.

I should probably stay out of this, but I do have one comment/question that is pertinent - at least I think it is.

The problem arises when Bill does not explain himself other than to simply repeat his assertions as to his "theory". That was not an acceptable form of "explanation" when my mother tried it raising me, and it's still not. That method still boils down to "Do as I say, not as I do".

Several people, at the start of all this, asked some very meaningful questions as to how Bills "muzzle devices" defied the accepted and proven behavior of a beam under vibration. I'm afraid that until those questions ARE addressed - by Bill - the discussion will not make a lot of progress.

It doesn't have a whole lot to do with who is posting for Bill, as it will always seem as if those questions are being lost through a 3rd party. This is not a reflection upon you, or Kathy, or Rob Propst, or whomever Bill might select. It still comes off as 2nd hand information - whether it's an exact cut and paste or not.

This post is not intended to be contentious, just a statement of fact as I see it.

I'm not bothered at all by your question.
Nope, I know he 's not BC. He made the comment that he did not really know if my name was real, or something to that effect. My point is that unlike him, I use my real name, not a nickname. You can look at my profile and see my real name.
The point is that BC posts under another name, makes all these claims, and no one has a way to respond to him. If he wants to have a meaningful discussion, let him post under his real name, and respond to the posts. He seems to have time to make a bunch of claims, but no time to respond to direct questions.
Anyway, no more on the subject
