Gents,
I'm building a rifle right now with the intent to bead blast the action and barrel, something I've never done before. So...I have a few questions.
At what point do you bead blast the barrel? Before or after chambering and fitting? I can see how it could be done both ways, but I'm looking for advice from those who have done it before.
If you fit and chamber after bead blasting, what are you using to protect the finish during chambering and assembly?
And what media/grit do you guys use and recommend for this?
FYI, the action will be blued and the barrel is stainless.
Thank you in advance for your replies,
Justin
