BAT Action Knightforce Scope Clearance Problem

Has anyone ever used the BAT base ring 1-piece combination with a Knightforce scope and experienced clearance problems?

I have a BAT 3 lug 1.365 round action, Krieger No. 17 HV barrel, and 10x42 Knightforce benchrest scope.

I purchased a set of BAT base ring 1-piece combination in 20 moa. I lapped in the base rings (removing 1-2 thousands, getting 85% coverage), then put the scope in the bottom rings. When I checked the bell and barrel clearance, the bell was hitting the barrel.

hi nightsniper, i had the same problem with my bat ''b''. i added shims both front and rear, no problems since(500 rnds). DOGDUDE
 
rings

I bought the 20 minute aluminum 1 piece base from BAT for the Kelby style rings and bought the super high Kelby rings. Plenty of clearence for Nightforce. Matt Kline
