barrel twist

I'm a greenhorn 22lr benchrest shooter and would like to know if the standard twist on a barrel is a "right hand twist"? Also, I would like to get a range about the rpm of a bullet in flight for a 22lr as it is rotating in flight. Thanks,

Bullet RPM's...

ifldned...The formula for finding the rpm's of a bullet is as follows.
RPM=12/twist(in inches) X 60 X MV(in fps)

1/16 twist is the industry standard,but you'll find ALOT of BR .22's w/ slower twists such as 1/17,1/17.5,1/18,etc along w/ a RIGHT hand twist.
