barrel thread lube?

is anti seize ok for thread lube when swapping out barrels? seems to me i heard somewhere not to use it? lee
 
I use a synthetic grease that I buy from one of my RC airplane sources.

It's called Tri Lube.

I hope antiseize is OK, 'cause I used it. All I can tell you is that it came out OK a month later when I needed to take it off again.
 
I watched Gordys video on chambering, and he uses anti-sieze when checking threads to receiver.
 
Anti-Sieze will work, I used it for about ten years but it sure is messy. I just use bolt lube now. Heck, go to walmart and buy a tube of red lithium high pressure grease and you'll have enough bolt lube and thread lube to last for several years.
