For BR, I'd recommend a 21-22" to help keep weight down, and keep a well balanced rifle.

i am shooting an over all 27" length with 16" twist.
My previous barrel was about 22" and it wouldn't shot in any sort of wind, and we are talking just enough to move the tail on the windflags.

think a barrel of about 9"s and a bloop tube about 18"s with a twist of 16-16 1/2 would be about perfect.

On my ARA guns (no weight worries) I have a 25 3/4, a 26 and a little over 27 inch. Twist rates are 16, 4 groove, 16 5c, and 17 5c.
