Barrel info please?

Hi all im looking at getting a 10/22 from my local shop here is the description ( .22 target setup. Black hogue rubber stock. Fitted with Midway heavyweight fluted stainless barrel. Weaver raised mounting rail. Extended mag release has been fitted. Comes with two Eagle 10 round magazines.) what can you guys tell me about the barrel and mags pics and or websites would be good as I have searched but found nothing.

Midway sell several different barrels

for 10-22s from at least 4 different makers. You need more information to get any help. You also will get more help on a 10-22 forum than on a benchrest forum although there are some pretty sharp folks on this forum too.
 
Hi thanks I will be going to see it tomoz and if there is anything else on the barrel I will make a note of it.

A Midway barrel, could be a ER Shaw or a Adam& Bennett barrel!

I use non fluted barrel be cause the flutes can distort the bore causing it not to shoot real well!! I always slug and check the bore on the one's I tune and build, there are some fluted barrels that will slug out nice and shoot good? I thread the stock actions for 3/4 x 16 for our heavier gun's to shoot in our matches. I've tried several different things and some have worked and some not! YBRF!! Rambo (Douglas)
