Barrel History Question

Does anybody know where GPC (Gun Parts Corp.) in West Hurley, NY get their barrels from?

I gave them a call about the history of an old Ruger 10/22 Heavy barrel that was purchased from them about 10 years ago, and they said it was their policy not to share vendor information with non-dealers.

The barrel is nothing special, but I would like to find out who made it. I think it sold for about $44.00.?

They buy lots of gun parts from many, many sources. They probably have no way of knowing.

If you are refering to the 10/22 bull barrels that they sold it is most likely a Green Moutain of some grade. They will make barrels with anyones name stamped on them. I have a GM that has a MIDWAY logo that I bought as a kit several years ago for my 10/22. The kit also came with a Fajan thumbhole stock.
