Bald Eagle Precision - Machine Rests

A couple few questions on Bald Eagle Precision machine rests:

Is Bald Eagle Precision still in business making machine rests?

Did Bald Eagle Precision ever make their "slingshot" machine rest using cast iron?

Thanks!

Bill "big bird" Gebhart sold the business to Woodstock , Intl. last year. Since he offered the standard BR rest in both alum. and cast iron...I would venture to say the slingshot was also made in both. Go to Allied Shooters website and you will see cast iron was also itemized in the pricing.
Whether this new outfit actually ever gets these fine rests back in production remains to be seen....as you are well aware, the business climate ain't so great at the moment, with prospects rather bleak.

Thanks for the information. I thought for a while this thread was going to be an "O" forever.

Can you provide weblink to new owners? I unsuccessfully attempted www.alliedshooters.com.

I have 2 slingshots made of cast iron. So yes to that question. Can't help you on the other.

Thank you for the information. I e-mailed Woodstock sales and awaiting an answer on price and availability.

Got a prompt return e-mail from Woodstock, saying to check back in several months on machine rests.

A little disappointed Woodstock didn't offer to contact me when the machine rests became available. Seems to make more sense to me.

In the meantime I think I will continue to look for a used Bald Eagle cast iron "slingshot" for a reasonable price.
