Hey, great weather for a match. A nice little vectoring tail wind as is usual at ARC, stymied any 250 scores however. In the Hunter class Virg started off with a bang (50/4X, 50/3X, and 50/5X) then got arrogant and starting shooting for the X's and dropped three points. Just goes to show once again, a 250/0X beats a 249/24X every time. As per usual Curt stayed his steady self and won the Hunter class. The VFS guys fought it out with their 6ppc's with Lester dropping his one point in match four.
We did have a first time junior shooter in the VFS class shooting a 223 caliber for a very nice score. He was ably coached by Sean Carr.
Since this match conflicted with the New Braunfels match this month, some of the big boy shooters from Burnet were absent. Oh well, maybe catch them next month.
All for now,
Virg
