ARC - Hunter & VFS 100 yd Benchrest Match Oct 27,2019
20 shooters - 3 Hunter Rifles , 17 VFS
Temps in the 70's, sunny and a south breeze gave us a gorgeous day to shoot. Benches were full with the San Antone group coming to shoot with us. Most had 6PPC 'group' guns and had a good showing shooting score. Our 3 Hunter guns went back and forth and John Gallaher claims 1st with 246-5X.
There was a tie for 1st in the VFS group at 250-15X. James Braddy wins with the Match 3 tiebreaker score. Art Bosco gets 2nd place. Speedy Gonzales places 3rd with a 249-14X.
Even with a 2nd relay and a longer match, we all had some fun and probably learned something. Thanks to Speedy and the group for coming to our contest.
Our next match is November 24, starts at noon. It is the Sunday BEFORE Thanksgiving weekend.
