ARC - 100 yd Match for Score
21 Shooters - 17 VFS 4 Factory Rifles
Lots of rain yesterday presented a mud pit at the range today. The front decided to move in just about starting time this morning and we had that stiff north wind in yo face plus a little switching from side to side. Tough conditions, I thought. But the winners were not hampered and more than a few 250's were posted. There was a tie for 2nd place at 250-16X. Steve Brown wins the tiebreaker with Don Mulhall , having to go to the Match #2 score. But 1st place goes to Robert Rongero with his sizzling 250-20X final score. He was all business today, watching those flags, taking advantage of all 7 minutes and having that consistent high X count. Good shooting Robert.
Factory rifle class was won by Hal Bogatz with a 242-8X. Paul Shanklin gets 2nd place ,only 1 X behind Hal with his 242-7X and 3rd place honors goes to Norman Luther with 242-3X.
Good match, shooters. Thanks to all for target duty, setup and correcting my scoring mistakes.
We voted to step up next months match by 1 week, to ******DEC 19, starting at NOON******.
So that will be the last match of the year and the last chance to post your best score for the year and have a chance at the coveted "Best Score Trophy Cup" to be presented at the January match.
Hope to see everyone there.
Have a Merry Christmas and the Happiest Holidays.
