ARC 100 yd Match for Score
21 Shooters - VFS 13, Hunter 3, Factory 5
Cloudy and HUMID conditions today.....thought I was back in Houston. Our slight prevaling SE @ 8-12 kept it tolerable. A little late getting started, our earlier summer start time of 10 am caught some sleepy heads offguard (and then another forgot his rifle!). The 5 Factory rifles battled it out with Jon Aronson (aka Mr Crossfire) managing a first place at 248-4X with his 6.5 Creedmoor. Also shooting the 6.5 was Ernest Mims at 238-5X taking 2nd. Shoutout to Paul Shanklin with his 50-3X 4th target shooting a 308 Win.
Charles Moore gets 1st place Hunter Rifle with a 250-11X and wins all 5 Best targets, including a sizzling 5th target score of 50-5X!! Outstanding! That's a tough score to beat for 'High Score of the Year'. Tommy Maedgen gets 2nd with his 234-3X.
Good contest among the VFS guns. Larry Kochanowicz takes first by a hair with 250-19X and Marlon Goates wins 2nd at 250-18X. Steve Krause slips to 3rd with a 250-16X. Good shooting today, everyone.
Our next monthly club match will be June 30, starts at 10 am.
